Different from the previous shooting when I carried a lot of equipment, this time, I only took the SIGMA fp+SIGMA 45mm F2.8 DG DN | Contemporary camera and lens and got fully involved in the Indra Jatra Festival, the biggest festival in Nepal.

In each day during the shooting, I walked through the streets of the old city, without feeling tired although I walked more than 30,000 steps a day. For the subjects I took photo of, the compact camera and my relaxed state showed no offence, so each snapshot captured a friendly and amiable facial feedback.

From sunrise until sunset, I could use the auto iso function in the camera to help maintain a fast shutter under different lighting conditions. Even if the settings of iso were high, the image quality was satisfactory.

My pursuit of high quality photography often makes my travels more and more tiresome.
However, this trip made me feel like I was back to the original state, blended into the local life, and became a part of the people there, with the fp being the best tool for me to record such wonderful life.
