Kenichi Yano was born in Japan, Osaka in 1979 and grew up in Chiba Prefecture. After graduating from the Department of Broadcasting of Nihon University College of Art, Yano joined the Japanese video production and creative agency Spoon.
His recent works include the series “Hot Holidays” for the Japan Racing Association, the series “weekend memories”, music videos for Cornelius (“Anata ga iru nara” and “Surfing on Mind Wave pt2”, created together with Koichiro Tsujikawa) and more.

This has been my first time with a full-frame mirrorless camera like the SIGMA fp. My first thought when I picked it up was: “I feel cool just having it in my hands.” However, I was worried if the camera wouldn’t be cumbersome to actually use—but it turned out to be much easier to operate than I had expected. Everyone in our production team should be able to use it, and I think the camera will be easy to integrate into our workflow. If it came with a movable display, it should have been even easier to use.
